π¦ π πΏ How are you? β Lately, I have been thinking about taking a social media break β I feel like I am thinking this every single day. β Let's be real: Doom scrolling is affecting my mental health. My husband and I were talking about how it's stressing me out which is stressing him out. And so that's really putting it into perspective. β But the problem is that I ALSO want to use my voice. β I ALSO have a business and writing to share. β And it really HELPS my mental health to connect with my pals. β Oy, the pros and cons. β So how do I solve this? I have been wondering and.... β An answer came in my inbox today! β One of my fav alternatives to social media is sending out an email like I am right now β I ADORE Email. β I love emailing you. β If you don't have your own email newsletter, I recommend it. β((In fact I made a hub of free resources to help make emailing fun, right here))β β But Listen, much as I love email: everything has pros and cons. The problem with email is HOW to reach new people consistently. β But then an answer came! I got this email today. I thought it may interest you as well: β There is a free event called List Building Live (a tiny audio-only summit) starting today, March 11-13. β β The speakers are doing mini-chats. Weβre talking 5-10 minutes each. β I LOVE THAT. Everything is about HOW to build your email list so you reach more people with your book or business. β I thought the timing couldn't be more perfect. β I'm going to listen to some of the speakers. Liz Wilcox is hosting it and she attracts a lot of cool people. β Want to join me? βCheck out the page and get signed up to share with & reach more people. β β Thanks for reading β β

π¦ π πΏ How are you doing today? I am pretty good, starting to get my energy back after my cold. Update: We have raised about half of our goal to raise money for Aminata's college fees in Sierra Leone! Woohoo! I am preparing to send it to her. This week, I watched all of the Harry and Meghan interviews on Netflix. And sidenote: oh my golly, it is an unfortunate story, but also very inspiring. Shame that things didn't work out and they couldn't remain as part of the royal family but leaving...
